The company has a separate business unit focused in Cabling Industry providing solutions for niche technology applications such as HV/EHV cables Degassing, extruder lines Cleanrooms and production Lines Process Cooling.
Role Description:
Following the expansion needs of the company in greater geographical scale, BCT is looking for a Mechanical Engineer with experience in MEP Systems Design for the Engineering Department of the company.
Primarily the candidate shall have very good knowledge of HVAC Systems, cooling and heating mechanical systems including equipment and distribution circuits. Knowledge of other mechanical systems such as steam, compressed air, purified water and firefighting will be a significant advantage. The candidate shall have at least a medium knowledge in electrical systems such as low voltage electrical distribution circuits, electrical panels interpretation, electrical loads calculation as well as of BMS.
The Role will be involved in the Tendering process of Design & Build Projects were he/she shall carry out the pre-design process, the costing and the elaboration of the technical documentation of a new Project for which the company is submitting a proposal to the customer. He/she will undertake purely Design Projects as the elaboration of a Basic Design Project for a new pharmaceutical facility for which the company has been already assigned to execute and Deliver the Design Scope.
Candidate pre-requisites:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (for Greece: NTUA, AUT, TUP, TUC)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Designing Company including projects supervision
- Good knowledge proved by existing experience of the technical objective of the Role
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Fluency in German language (written and spoken) is considered an advantage
